Happy New Year to all! It is now officially 2012! In fact, almost 3 hours have passed since the year change here...
Let's see, what have I to write? I do have several hopes for this new year:
Resolutions:
~To be more understanding and compassionate towards everyone
~To be serious in everything I do (...and yeah, that includes SCHOOL, the dreaded word)
~To be a better child to God and my parents, and to be a better student to my teachers
Sounds simple and not so goal-oriented... but hard all the same. For example, resolution number two. I know being serious in EVERYTHING is going to be hard. Very, very hard. Especially in things that I have no interest at all: school... and such. I'll try my best to push this laziness away, though. Let the battle of 2012 be declared:
ME VS LAZINESS
I do wish that I'd succeed in university and work later on, and will lead on a happier life especially after I graduate from Senior High. Short-term hopes include, finishing my dreaded paper (blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh), finish my movie project and actually doing the IT graphic project. Then again, they are more goals than hopes, aren't they? Well, for me they are hopes since I have no ambition to seriously complete those stuff.
More hopes, more hopes. I hope I'll be able to stop procrastinating (if gradually) in the year 2012. Urgh, a big goal, but considering as I'll officially be considered an adult next year... (not something I look forward to, anyways) it's not something I can dodge anymore. I gotta be more responsible at stuff and actually do something. That's what I'll hate about being an adult.
The year 2012 hasn't shown much good so far, but blargh, I've been doing nothing useful this past 3 hours. I suppose I can start the year with a bit of (read: MUCH) leisure? I still have a week before I have to resume school, anyway. The annoyingly stupid place...
Alright, that's all I can think about so far. Not blogging for 'most a year has left my brain quite rusty. Happy New Year to all, and to all a Great Year ahead!

Revisiting 2011 in a Glance
Whoa, it's been a year minus 4 days since I last posted here! Okays, due to the limited time I have left here, let me revisit 2011 in a glance...
Conclusion: 2011 wasn't the best year ever considering the many shortcomings I experienced throughout the year, though most of which are caused by my own failure to motivate myself out of laziness.
Yes, that. And I can't say that I'm looking forward to 2012 seeing as I'll be officially an adult then, and adult means old and more responsibility and...
That just doesn't sound good to me. I can very well say I LOVE my days of being young and carefree, thank you very much!
Now my 5 minutes is over... I gotta go now. Happy New Year to all!

Last Days of Holiday
There's so little left of this holiday: no more than 6 days. Even though this was the most uneventful holiday I've ever had, it's also a fun one. Well, any day I spend on the computer it's a fun one, but anyway, any kind of holidays would be better than schooldays. Did I say that senior high is probably the part of school I like best? Still I prefer holidays over it. Just can't get the lazy side under me. I've been sleeping in a lot this holiday - usually I would wake up even earlier on non-school days, but it just don't happen this holiday. I slept it and do nothing but laze around the whole day. A very unproductive holiday, but also a one spent away happily.
Well, at least I keep one of my New Year's Resolution, don't I?
I think I've read the book Pride and Prejudice at least thrice, but I still love that book. For some odd reasons, for the past one year I've taken a liking to light romance. Weird, huh? I still prefer action and mystery over them, but lately I've been thinking that a bit of romance is in order. And I've been reading romance novels like Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, Gone With the Wind... and you wouldn't have thought I had a romantic bone in me! Well, anyway, switching the topic away to Gone With the Wind, I am very very disappointed that in the end, Scarlett did something stupid and made poor Rhett left her. Rhett was by far my favorite character in the series, Scarlett ranking second with her awesomeness. Just unfortunately he is sometimes stupid. Since the moment Rhett appeared first in the book, I knew that he would be the one for Scarlett later on.
Speaking about insights, I think reading and watching a lot do you good. I mean, now when I read a story or watch a movie or something like that, I would usually find out who kills who or who will hook up with who the moment the 'right person' comes out. I guess these things do happen when you're used to different kinds of stories, eh? I mean, uh, well, I still can't guess the result of a scientific experiment but I do the ending of a story. Well, anyway, most that I watch lately.
As unproductive as this holiday had been... it's been a fun one. I should hope this never lasts.

Of Detectives and Sushi
It's the first Monday of the year 2011! Cheers! And oh, I remember to come here last minute; it's just about 30 minutes before I have to go!
Anyway, if you are reading this, please be kind enough to visit, comment and perhaps follow a blog by my friends and I - the Four Epic Girls - here on blogspot.com, especially if you speak Indonesian. It's a mostly Indonesian blog but there will be English articles slipped inside, and several are bilingual. We haven't gotten far yet there, just started the introduction, but it will be really nice of you to have a peek and tell us what you think.
Alright! So I just finished watching this Remington Steele episode entitled You're Steele the One For Me. The episode features Remington Steele being persuaded by his 'associate' Laura Holt to eat... sushi! Man, didn't my mouth water at that! Even though I just ate sushi like two days ago on New Year's Day, I still want more! How can you not - they described sushi with raw tuna on it! Aww... don't I want more! In the end of the episode, Remington Steele spits out a sushi because he is told that it is octopus. Poor sushi... I want that!
So, yeah, I was talking about the sushi, not the episode. Sushi is just one of the awesomeness of life, don't you think? My favorite would be raw salmon, and then the one with unagi (or eel), and then... well I guess I like all kinds of sushi, but those two would be my favorite so far. In the Remington Steele episode, Steele said something like, "-when there's fish on the grill, which would do both of us good." Uh, you don't get the point, Mr. Steele. You save coal and fire if you eat the fish raw, and uh, it's more delicious that way! Well, at least on sushi. I have no offense at grilled fish whatsoever because I happen to enjoy eating it very much. Especially with soy sauce and a bit of lime. Delicious! I'm a seafood lover, you see, as well as a lover of many more kinds of food!
I still feel bad for the tako sushi.

An Uneventful Day
Yeah! So I remember posting here! I congratulate myself once more, haha... I'm keeping one of my New Years resolution so far! Let's hope that each of us can keep our resolutions throughout year. If I continue this, I'll have 365 blogposts this year, and I'm sure I'll be very proud to see that next year! Which means, I really have to keep this up.
Today, although far than over yet, was quite uneventful. I woke up, took a bath, went to church, arrived home, hang up laundry, practiced piano, played computer, did a bit of tasks, ate lunch all the while not shutting down the computer, resumed playing computer... and that's it. I don't think I'll do much more later on. It'll be even less exciting after I log off the computer.
Well, yesterday I watched Babies, the movie which not so long ago was in the cinema. I am really glad I didn't watch it in the cinema, it's not worth it, however cute the babies are. I don't really get the plot. I think there's no plot at all. My mom and I agree that the babies are cute but that their parents can't take good care of their babies... in their own ways. And no, it's not specifically directed to the African baby because of the poor circumstances... not at all. The parents of all four could've done better. The best parent, I think, is the Japanese girl's. Unfortunately I forgot the name. My mom and I both agree that Bayarjargal of Mongolia is our favorite baby.

Happy New Year!
I've been trying to post this since morning, but unfortunately the server was busy at that time. It seems that everyone is enthusiastic for the New Year. Well, that really sounds like a good way to start the New Year. Fortunately I was able to remind myself that one of my New Year resolutions this year is to make a blog post each day... so... yeah. I congratulate myself for the determination.
The year 2010 had been a pleasant year, I have to admit. As I have said in probably 9 different places, it was a great improvement after the year 2009, and many awesome things happened in 2010. My joining a martial arts class, my graduation from Junior High, my joining the Student Council... eventful things like that, and the smaller things like going out to the mall for the first time with friends (yeah, I am that nerdy, in the non-studying way), little adventures at school... Many fun and memorable things happened this year. I am really thankful for the year 2010; it was one of the best years I've ever experienced. I also really look forward to the adventures that await in this New Year 2011.
And now, how did I celebrate New Year this year?
Well... everything began at 12 AM, of course. I fell asleep watching Quantum of Solace on TV, and woke up right at 12 AM. At that time I had received several text messages containing Happy New Year's, and I replied to them and spread the greetings to 36 of my friends in total. Usually I would receive more than I send, but not this year. I only received 11 greetings, but that's alright. That shows that 11 people still cared. To continue... in short, I continued watching Quantum of Solace until it finished at a bit past 1 AM, then I went to bed. I was the earliest riser this morning. I had finished doing everything: stretching, practicing piano, singing in boredom... before anyone else woke up. The moment my parents woke up I practically jumped to the computer and logged in and everything else. Tried to post here but as I had mentioned above, failed. My interest was recently piqued at an old TV series (which is 13 years older than me), Remington Steele. I have watched 3 episodes so far - 2 last year (in the sense of 30 and 31 December of last year) and one just now before dinner. I am downloading the 4th episode (of season one) at the moment. Well anyway, not long after that we had breakfast. I watched a bit of the 3rd episode after that and took a bath. Then we went to a mall for lunch (alright, maybe the breakfast can be called brunch, as we had it way too late), but anyway, the mall was quite far away so we only had lunch around 1 PM. Finished around 2, we did a bit of shopping and went home. We arrived home at about 4. Took a bath and was here since. I'll be watching Babies after this, and that'll probably be the end of the New Year's Day.
Speaking of which, if the New Year only lasts for one day, will the year be old already tomorrow?
