I've been trying to post this since morning, but unfortunately the server was busy at that time. It seems that everyone is enthusiastic for the New Year. Well, that really sounds like a good way to start the New Year. Fortunately I was able to remind myself that one of my New Year resolutions this year is to make a blog post each day... so... yeah. I congratulate myself for the determination.
The year 2010 had been a pleasant year, I have to admit. As I have said in probably 9 different places, it was a great improvement after the year 2009, and many awesome things happened in 2010. My joining a martial arts class, my graduation from Junior High, my joining the Student Council... eventful things like that, and the smaller things like going out to the mall for the first time with friends (yeah, I am that nerdy, in the non-studying way), little adventures at school... Many fun and memorable things happened this year. I am really thankful for the year 2010; it was one of the best years I've ever experienced. I also really look forward to the adventures that await in this New Year 2011.
And now, how did I celebrate New Year this year?
Well... everything began at 12 AM, of course. I fell asleep watching Quantum of Solace on TV, and woke up right at 12 AM. At that time I had received several text messages containing Happy New Year's, and I replied to them and spread the greetings to 36 of my friends in total. Usually I would receive more than I send, but not this year. I only received 11 greetings, but that's alright. That shows that 11 people still cared. To continue... in short, I continued watching Quantum of Solace until it finished at a bit past 1 AM, then I went to bed. I was the earliest riser this morning. I had finished doing everything: stretching, practicing piano, singing in boredom... before anyone else woke up. The moment my parents woke up I practically jumped to the computer and logged in and everything else. Tried to post here but as I had mentioned above, failed. My interest was recently piqued at an old TV series (which is 13 years older than me), Remington Steele. I have watched 3 episodes so far - 2 last year (in the sense of 30 and 31 December of last year) and one just now before dinner. I am downloading the 4th episode (of season one) at the moment. Well anyway, not long after that we had breakfast. I watched a bit of the 3rd episode after that and took a bath. Then we went to a mall for lunch (alright, maybe the breakfast can be called brunch, as we had it way too late), but anyway, the mall was quite far away so we only had lunch around 1 PM. Finished around 2, we did a bit of shopping and went home. We arrived home at about 4. Took a bath and was here since. I'll be watching Babies after this, and that'll probably be the end of the New Year's Day.
Speaking of which, if the New Year only lasts for one day, will the year be old already tomorrow?
